University Aviation Association (UAA)

IAS-UMT has been a member of the University Aviation Association (UAA) since 2017, sustained engagement with the leading international body for collegiate aviation education, and currently the only university in South Asia holding this membership.

This membership gives IAS students direct access to opportunities most aviation students in the region simply can't compete for. UAA's annual research and project poster competitions are open exclusively to students from member institutions and IAS students have entered repeatedly, securing top-3 placements multiple times against universities from the U.S., Canada, Europe, and beyond. This membership also gives our students access to UAA scholarships, opening doors to financial support tied directly to international collegiate aviation.
