Program Overview

UMT is also offering two-year master degree program in collaboration with Turkish Aviation Academy (TAA), Istanbul, Turkey. The entire program will be held in Turkish Aviation Academy, Istanbul, Turkey which is one of the training centers of Turkish Airlines. The purpose of this degree is to provide Pakistan nationals an opportunity to excel their capabilities in the field of aviation to serve the managerial needs of the civil aviation sector. Istanbul Technical University (ITU) the world`s renowned industrial and academic partners of the TAA, has launched the M.Sc. in Air Transport Management Program.
Faculty of the above program are from leading companies and universities throughout the world that shape the industry, namely Boeing, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Istanbul Technical University, Cranfield University, and University of British Columbia.

Participants, as future candidates of high managerial positions, will have the opportunity to be prominent and preferable in their career with the knowledge and skills obtained from this internationally accredited M.Sc. program.


To serve the managerial needs, to facilitate the development and sustenance of the air transport sector.

Motivation of the Program

  • The motivation of the program is to guide and educate the young generation and become future executives and manager of airlines in aviation industry.
  • The program provides graduates with the knowledge and skills that prepare them for the aviation industry, aviation related government jobs, research and development in the field of aviation.
