Dr. Anjum Tauqir, (S.I.)
Dr. Anjum Tauqir completed his Master's in Metallurgical Engineering from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, and his PhD from the University of Connecticut. He has over 30 years of experience in energy beam-material interaction, the development of high-purity aerospace alloys, and failure analysis.
He has authored more than 80 publications in reputed journals and international conferences and holds two patents registered in the UK. Dr. Tauqir has led the establishment of multi-billion semi-industrial hi-tech projects in the field of metallurgy — managing the full lifecycle from planning to production.
Currently, he is serving as a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Institute of Materials Science, Islamabad, and also works as an Advisor at NCFA.
Obaid ur Rauf
Obaid ur Rauf is working as a Project Lead at the National Center for Failure Analysis. He completed his Master's in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Space Technology.
He has 10 years of experience in the field of Failure Analysis and Onsite Inspections. He has published 6 research papers, and his areas of specialization include Metals & Alloys, Composite Materials, Corrosion and its Prevention, and Failure Analysis.
