Institute of Aviation Studies Successfully Hosted National Technology Council Interim Visit

National Technology Council (NTC) visitation team led by Prof. Dr. Abdul Munem Khan (Convener) and Prof. Dr. Iqbal Rasool (Expert) along with Mr. Ghulam Muhammad (NTC Representative) visited the Institute of Aviation Studies (IAS) - University of Management and Technology on Monday, 12 July 2021 for conducting the Interim Visit.
During the visit, the NTC team evaluated the overall quality BSc. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology (AMET) program and assessed the program’s compliance with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and NTC policies. BSc AMET faculty gave the presentation on the program, the overall facilities provided by the University of Management and Technology, and progress made to rectify the zero-visit findings. During the visit, the NTC team met with students enrolled in BSc. AMET program and visited IAS flight simulator service, Information Processing Center (IPC), engineering labs, computer lab, library, and medical facility. The visit ended with the NTC team visiting the premises of the Walton Aerodrome to inspect the maintenance practical being provided to students at Walton Aviation Training School (WATS) and the partner organizations.
