Behind the Scenes of Inflight Catering

Students of the Institute of Aviation Studies, University of Management and Technology - UMT, accompanied by Dr. Rana Shahid Mahmood, Mr. Nawaz Gill and Capt. Rashid Niazi, had an opportunity to explore real-world aviation operations during an industrial visit to Kitchen Cuisine Flight Catering facility.
From understanding inflight meal preparation standards to observing large-scale catering logistics, the visit provided valuable insights into the precision, hygiene, and coordination required behind the scenes of airline services. Such experiences bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, preparing our students for dynamic careers in aviation.
