Career Prospects

Holding a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Technology (BSAMET) along with Part-66 (B1.2 & B3) License offers excellent career opportunities not only nationwide but also worldwide. The EASA Part-66 License qualifies its holders to be selected for further aircraft-type authorization before being permitted to sign off aircraft for flight. You can gain employment in national and international airlines to be the part of their maintenance teams.

There is growing market and need for qualified and competent aircraft maintenance engineers. The degree will not only help in securing a place in any reputable maintenance organization but also provides foundation for pursuing post graduate studies in international universities offering courses based on relevant titles.

There are countless opportunities for engineers in organisations involved in maintenance, leasing/financing, flying (airlines), and regulating aircraft. There is currently a huge worldwide shortage of engineers in the aviation industry, which is projected to continue for years to come. This degree will give you a vast skillset, much valued by aviation employers. Follow On Study:

Graduates who wish to follow a career in aircraft design and manufacturing, or progress to a Ph.D. can apply to undertake a master’s degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, which will enhance your knowledge and capabilities in key areas of aeronautical technology
